About This Website

This website was created by Ray Rasmussen as an aid in introducing members of a photography club to Topaz Studio and Topaz Impressions software.

Ray Rasmussen is a photographer and writer who enjoys the outdoors near the places where lives as well as wilderness hiking and canoeing. His fabourite haunts are Algonquin Provincial Park in Ontario (canoeing), Willmore Wilderness Park in Alberta (hiking) and Utah's Canyon Country parks includiong Canyonlands NP, Cedar Mesa and Natural Bridges (hiking, canyoneering and ancestral puebloan sites).

Ray is not associated with the Topaz software creaters albeit he admires them, as he does the creaters of Photoshop and Lightroom. Nor does he avocate for Topaz softwares. Simple put, he enjoys pixel painting and for his electronic brushes he uses a mix of Photoahop and Topaz Studio and Impressions. He does not receive compensation for this website in any way although, of course, he loves it when people send him money.

As you can likely tell from the digital paintings posted on this website, Ray also is not a pro with the Topaz products. But he can assure you that he's having fun from time to time.
