Willmore Wilderness Park,  A Photography Slideshow Seep Creek and Other Crossings | return to start | Maps & Information | next-> |

Willmore Wilderness Park, Rocky Mountains, Alberta, Canada

After the initial crossing of the Wildhay, most of the other 5 or so crossings are like this one on Seep Creek – they are what one might call nuisance crossings because most people will want to change into their stream shoes rather than get their boots soaked. While this guy's method of crossing isn't recommended – wet logs can be quite slipper and can easily move – a hiking stick is helpful for crossing any of these streams for staying on your feet. And since you're at Seep Creek, a 3 km trail leads up to a lovely campsite from which several day hikes are possible and worthwhile.
