"The coyote just snatched Tinker up and trotted off with her." The newspaper shows a tearful woman clutching Belle, her other long-haired Brussels Griffon. "We have to eliminate these killers," she's quoted as saying. "Who knows whether the neighbors' children will be next." Her newly built home is perched on the edge of the Whitemud Wildlife Sanctuary, a small nature reserve.
