More or Less

She said that she wanted more and while I wasn't sure what she meant, I hadn't told her that I wanted less and so I ignored her request. Months ago she wrote, "I hope that in the future we can still be friends."

It's been a long winter without the companionship and sensual pleasures that we shared. Then last week, she wrote that she wants to get together for dinner at "our" restaurant and afterwards at her place for dessert.

As the week passes, I wonder. What if she wants to renew and is willing to settle for what we had?

And what if she doesn't?
