Arch Canyon

This once large, multi-storied ruin is located high up on the walls of Arch Canyon. Many of the dwellings and granaries built during drought period around 1200 AD were likely defensive in nature. One had to admire the need when one considers the work it took to carry timbers and the mud for mortar from the wet wash at the canyon bottom to this difficult to reach area.
