Hikers in the Persimmon Creek Basin 1 (show map)

The Persimmon Creek Basin has three branches. The hikers are headed for the right hand branch, behind Persimmon Peak on the right. Some maps show a trail going up the meadows, but the beest route is to follow the creek which necessitates several small stream crossings.
