| Hiking in Willmore Wilderness Park |
The red arrows show the location of the camp sites in the region. Most are located near water and have fire pits and cleared areas for tents. During the summer it's rare that more than two of them are used at the same time. Most are secluded and all offer scenic views. During hunting season, most camps are occupied. The general rule in Willmore is first come-first served. However, some outfitters have laid psychological claim to the camps which are known by their names. Some pitch their tents for the duration of the summer and fall seasons. However, hikers coming on an unoccupied site with or without outfitters' tents set up can usually feel comfortable using the camp.
