About the Haiku Dreamworks

In the belief that dreaming is half of life and that the creative impulse comes from a dream state, the theme for this webpage is the dream state of mind.

The photographic images have been digitally modified to fit the feel of the dream world, of darkness, of different colors, of images distorted or half-seen.

The intent is provide a series of fantasy images for inspiring haiku poems that connect to the theme of dreaming and/or to the images.

You are invited to submit abstract photographic or graphic images or haiku poems or both. More than one haiku may be added to a particular image-page, so please submit a haiku if the image moves you to write one.

If you submit a photographic image that is a literal rendering of its subject, it should be modified to represent a dream state--whatever that means to you. If you don't know how to modify an image that you have in mind, submit the original image and I will modify it and post it.
