It is also meant to honor all those conservationists who work with great honesty and dilligence to encourage the government to provide protection of other scenic areas of Alberta, notably the work of the Alberta Wilderness Association, the Alberta Chapters of the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society and the Federation of Alberta Naturalists is deeply appreciated.
